Meet Jan Maceczek

In his role as an Associate, Jan focuses on program management, market and policy analysis, strategic partnerships, business development, and brand creation. Since joining LDR in 2018, Jan has played an important role in contributing to numerous successful innovation, strategy, and management advisory projects across the energy, mobility, technology, supply chain, and insurance sectors.
We spoke with Jan about himself and his work at LDR.
Q: What has been your proudest moment working at LDR?
Jan: While difficult to pin down a single moment, launching EVolve Houston alongside the City of Houston and the organization’s founding members was certainly a fulfilling highlight during my time at LDR. The launch event for the organization and its roadmap – which set ambitious goals for Houston to advance electric vehicle adoptions – represented the work of the many inspired stakeholders we’ve worked with through the strategic planning process being celebrated. In that sense, it was equally exciting to see the event as a first step in the organization’s journey, which we continue to support.
Q: How do you make an impact?
Jan: One of the ways I strive to make an impact is by fully immersing myself in a project to understand the client’s unique goals and position in its ecosystem. For me, this involves collaborating closely with clients to understand their organizations and drawing on the solutions our teams have developed to think of how we can apply new approaches to tackle intricate challenges.
Q: Why do you enjoy working at LDR?
Jan: I enjoy working at LDR because of its people. It has been a privilege to be part of a team that is not only talented but also determined to make an impact by taking on meaningful challenges. By working towards a shared vision, we are all able to learn from each other to grow both collectively and individually, achieving awesome things along the way!
